Do More Together: This class features the essentials that allow us to involve our dogs in more adventures! Learn how to build a consistent “come” when called, “stay,” “heel” and “free”. Applying these concepts to your pups life will empower you to do more together!
Explore: Does your dog need a confidence boost? Learn concepts like “Find It,” “Doggy Parkour,” and the “Touch” trick to help your pup get comfy with the uncomfortable. These cues have been hand-selected to build resilience and optimism in your dog.

AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Class
Introducing AKC S.T.A.R Puppy classes! This fun and interactive 6-week long course is designed for puppies between the ages of 3-6 months old. Our class will provide you and your furry friend with the foundation skills needed for a lifetime of good behavior and positive training experiences. This class is held at Your Pets Naturally in Grand Rapids, MI.
During the course, you will learn how to effectively communicate with your puppy and teach them important commands such as "sit," "stay," "come," and loose leash walking. You will also learn about potty training, chewing, and biting, as well as how to socialize your puppy with other dogs and people.
Our experienced trainers will guide you through each lesson, providing hands-on instruction and helpful tips for continued success at home. We encourage participation from both the puppy and the owner, so bring your sense of humor and a willingness to learn!
Your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, you’ll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the program including purebreds and mixed breeds.
